About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Duty Manager to join our team at Mill Park Leisure Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the facility, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
  • Ensure the facility is maintained to a high standard, including pool plant systems and water quality principles
  • Act as the acting authority of the Centre Manager when dealing with incidents or emergency response
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management experience, with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of OHS and public safety applications, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is desirable
