About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatic Duty Manager to join our team at Mill Park Leisure Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the centre, including the management of pool plant systems, customer services, and health club operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain pool plant systems, ensuring optimal water quality and safety standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of lifeguards and other centre staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of centre policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with other centre staff to achieve operational excellence and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate (desirable)
  • First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
