About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Advisor to join our team at Genesis Minerals Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing safety and operational training programs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our processing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain training systems for all workers and visitors to ensure statutory compliance and the safe achievement of company objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and monitor training systems to reflect current work practices, procedures, and processes.
  • Continually monitor and manage training requirements of all workers to ensure skills requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with Department Managers and subject matter experts to maintain training needs analysis for all job roles and maintain an operations training matrix.
  • Coordinate the planning, approval, and scheduling of training to ensure employees acquire the required knowledge and skills to perform tasks specific to their role.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and deliver safety and operational training programs and packages.
  • Conduct safety and operational training assessments, including verification of competency, written and observation, and provide feedback to operators on competency performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and certification to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and packages through task observations, assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
