Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Aged Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with our clients to provide domestic assistance and social services, enabling them to live safe and fulfilling lives.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals. You will be responsible for:
- Providing domestic assistance, including cooking, cleaning, gardening, and transportation;
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing;
- Supporting clients with medication management and administration;
- Maintaining accurate records of client care plans and progress;
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent);
- Experience working in the aged care sector, preferably in a support role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- A current Australian Drivers License and access to a registered vehicle;
- Familiarity with electronic health records and software systems.
