We are seeking an experienced Aged Care Support Worker to join our team in Shoalhaven.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position offering guaranteed hours and shifts, with a competitive award rate of $28.94 - $30.61 per hour, plus superannuation and paid kilometres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining the home environment for older individuals
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring clients receive nutritious food
  • Offering social support and access to lifestyle activities, promoting overall wellbeing
  • Delivering personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and medication management
  • Supporting clients with mobility issues and therapy goals
  • Providing respite and emotional support to meet the unique needs of each individual

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle
  • The ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help from your manager
  • Availability to work at least three days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required
  • A caring attitude and commitment to assisting older members of our community live independently at home for longer
