About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Modern Workplace Support Specialist to join our team at LAB3. As a key member of our IT service desk, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate, responding promptly to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, support remote users, and identify and effectively prioritize situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Technical Research: Research solutions using available information resources and advise users on appropriate action.
  • Service Desk Operations: Follow standard Level 1 and 2 service desk procedures, escalate to 3rd level if necessary, and maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software resources and parts.
  • ITSM Administration: Administer ITSM software, track and route problems and requests, and document resolutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the technology department.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in an IT service desk, including configuration and troubleshooting of Windows and iOS device hardware and software in a networked environment.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, AD & Outlook, Autopilot – Intune, SCCM/SOE, TCP/IP networking, and related network services, hardware configuration, desktops, laptops, printers & mobile devices, Windows, Linux, Hyper V, Wi-Fi-enabled devices, KQL, SQL scripting, Backup systems and software, ServiceNow, Nagios.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, customer service, problem resolution, and decision-making skills, along with a desire to learn new technology and advance in a high-tech consulting firm.
