About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join our client's team at Arete Executive, focusing on the Central Highlands NSW region, Central West NSW through to the coast, excluding Sydney Metro. About You

We are looking for a sales professional with a visionary mindset and a hands-on approach. You are not just a salesperson; you are a team player, market strategist, and relentless growth seeker. Your background in construction, industrial, or heavy industries, combined with your CRM proficiency, will give you an edge in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers, building and strengthening relationships.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio and identify growth opportunities.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, converting them into tangible successes.
  • Optimise core business processes for increased operational efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Perform thorough competitor analysis to inform strategic positioning.
  • Achieve sales volume, quoting, and project targets in line with the budget.
Key Qualities:
  • Proven track record in account management and market share expansion.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Account management experience in industrial or heavy industries, particularly building materials or steel.
  • CRM proficient
  • Unrestricted driving license and own transport.
