Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Service Technician to support one of our valued customers across their five mine sites in the Lake Macquarie and Lithgow regions. As an Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing pro-active advice and support to customers, facilitating flawless start-up plans, and developing and standardizing equipment and system commissioning plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with pro-active advice and support
  • Facilitate Flawless Start-up plans
  • Develop and standardize equipment and system commissioning plans
  • Provide advanced technical support for equipment in the field
  • Coordinate new product field trials and document results, including any opportunities for product enhancement
  • Collate field data and evidence for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities for major failures and unresolved reliability issues
  • Engage with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to offer solutions for customer needs

Requirements

  • Electrical Trade Qualification and Electrical Licence
  • Experience working underground with longwall mining equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Able to work in an autonomous role
