Account Payment Specialist

Our organization strives to provide customers with excellent financial services. As a key member of our team, the Financial Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring timely receipt and allocation of customer account payments received via various channels.
This role is responsible for managing the timely processing of direct deposit payments from daily bank statements, receiving and allocating daily cheques, and processing and allocating credit card payments. Additionally, this position involves following up on unidentified customer payments, allocating suspense receipts to customer accounts, handling merchant chargeback enquiries, and reconciling general ledgers.
The ideal candidate will possess high volume processing experience in a corporate environment, basic accounting knowledge, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Furthermore, the successful candidate will have reasonable data entry speed, be able to work to deadlines, and maintain a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in Excel and experience using SAP are preferred but not essential.
