This senior leadership role oversees the strategic direction and continuous improvement of Student Services within the Academic Registrar's Division, encompassing:
- Student inquiries
- Enrolment and credit management

This position plays a crucial role in fostering a student-centered approach, promoting service innovation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Working collaboratively with executive leaders, faculties, and external partners, this role enhances the student experience and supports academic excellence across the institution.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide direction for the Student Services pillar, aligning its goals with the Education Portfolio's objectives and fostering a high-performance culture focused on student success.
- Autonomous Decision-Making: Exercise delegated authority to make significant autonomous decisions, ensuring alignment across internal and external policies and practices.
- Registrar Functions Oversight: Oversee a broad range of Registrar functions, consulting with the Academic Registrar as needed.
- Process Optimization: Lead optimization of business processes for quality, efficiency, and student satisfaction, ensuring effective resolution of issues and compliance.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with higher education regulations, standards, and governance frameworks, conducting internal audits and reviews as required.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external partners, representing the Academic Registrar in committees and working groups.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Student team, promoting a high-performance culture.
- Financial Management: Oversee financial management within the work area, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial sustainability.
- Culture and Safety: Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and well-being, ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety policies.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake ad-hoc projects and activities relevant to the role's key accountabilities.
