Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide direction for the Student Services pillar, aligning its goals with the Education Portfolio's objectives and fostering a high-performance culture focused on student success.
  2. Autonomous Decision-Making: Exercise delegated authority to make significant autonomous decisions, ensuring alignment across internal and external policies and practices.
  3. Registrar Functions Oversight: Oversee a broad range of Registrar functions, consulting with the Academic Registrar as needed.
  4. Process Optimization: Lead optimization of business processes for quality, efficiency, and student satisfaction, ensuring effective resolution of issues and compliance.
  5. Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with higher education regulations, standards, and governance frameworks, conducting internal audits and reviews as required.
  6. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external partners, representing the Academic Registrar in committees and working groups.
  7. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Student team, promoting a high-performance culture.
  8. Financial Management: Oversee financial management within the work area, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial sustainability.
  9. Culture and Safety: Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and well-being, ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety policies.
  10. Ad-Hoc Projects: Undertake ad-hoc projects and activities relevant to the role's key accountabilities.
