Job Description:

The Director of Student Experience is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the school's wellbeing and pastoral care strategy.

  • Lead and support the school's pastoral team in delivering high-quality student support services.
  • Develop, implement and evaluate wellbeing programs that align with the school's strategic plan and values.
  • Promote evidence-based approaches to pastoral care and manage student behaviour processes.
  • Partner with parents through regular communication and collaboration on student wellbeing and development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Student Wellbeing: Develop and implement strategies to promote student wellbeing and resilience.
  • Pastoral Care: Lead the pastoral team in providing comprehensive support services to students.
  • Behaviour Management: Manage student behaviour processes and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Foster positive relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology or related field.
  • Proven experience in leading pastoral teams and developing wellbeing programs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a senior leadership team.
