The College Counsellor is a vital member of the Student Support Team, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to students, families, and staff.

This full-time role involves delivering individual counselling services, collaborating with external stakeholders, and developing initiatives to enhance student wellbeing. The successful applicant will have:

  • A degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work (desired)
  • Provisional or full registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia OR
  • Maintenance of registration and/or membership with at least one relevant professional association
  • Previous experience in school counselling, including writing and reporting
  • Knowledge of child safety protocols and commitment to their implementation
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Demonstrated substantial experience in communication, interpersonal skills, and confidentiality & ethical practice

Candidates are expected to be active Christians, adhering to the College's Codes of Conduct and child safe policies. The role works 38 hours per week during term time and includes 4 weeks paid annual leave.
