Role Overview

The College Counsellor plays a pivotal role in providing individualised support and contributing to the wellbeing initiatives and programs for students, families, and staff.

This position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives and are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work
  • Provisional or full registration as a psychologist with the relevant governing body
  • Previous experience in school counselling, including writing and reporting
  • Knowledge of and commitment to child safety in an educational setting
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • A First Aid certificate

As a member of our team, you will be required to be a practising Christian with Christian values and be actively engaged in your local church community.

This is a 7.6 hour per day, 5 days per week, 40 weeks per annum role with 4 weeks annual leave.
