Our College is seeking an experienced counsellor to join its Student Support Team, providing individual counselling and wellbeing support to students, their families and staff.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual counselling to students, their families and staff
  • Supporting the College's wellbeing initiatives and programs
  • Clinical assessment, counselling and referrals to external stakeholders
  • Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including teachers, staff, parents and external agencies

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Provisional or full registration as a psychologist with the relevant governing body
  • Previous experience in school counselling, including writing and reporting
  • Knowledge of and commitment to child safety in an education setting
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A First Aid certificate

Additionally, you must be:

A committed Christian with Christian values, actively engaged in your local church community and willing to uphold the College's Codes of Conduct and child safe policies.

The successful candidate will work on a 40-week term-time basis, working 38 hours per week. Annual leave will be provided during non-term time, with four weeks paid leave available each year.
