Established under the Victims of Crime (Financial Assistance Scheme) Act 2022, it provides financial assistance through a simple and easy-to-navigate process that is fair, sensitive, and responsive to victims' needs. It acknowledges harm and prioritizes a trauma-informed, inclusive, and culturally safe approach.

  • A strong ability in diplomacy and judgement to provide accurate, clear, and comprehensive decisions within defined timeframes.

Essential Qualifications/Requirements:
A relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in community services, social work, criminology, psychology, victim services, and/or family violence is necessary.
