Strategic Risk Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our risk management team. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days a week in the office.


This is a key leadership position that requires shaping the future of our organization's risk culture. The successful candidate will lead the assessment of our risk culture through surveys and data analysis, developing actionable plans to enhance our risk profile.

A critical component of this role is designing and implementing a tailored risk and compliance training program to address capability gaps across the organization and its related entities.

The ideal candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and functional teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on risk initiatives.

This leader will champion a proactive risk culture, ensuring employees understand their roles and responsibilities in risk management.

Furthermore, they will support the development of managers within the risk management team through guidance and training.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the assessment of our risk culture through surveys and data analysis.
  • Design and implement a tailored risk and compliance training program.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and functional teams.
  • Champion a proactive risk culture.
  • Support the development of managers within the risk management team.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in risk management programs within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record in risk management and training development.
  • Strong communication skills.
