About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Release Operations Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional service to our Federal Government clients. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the release practices within our Service Integration & Management (SIAM) framework.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your expertise to orchestrate the release practices, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our clients.
- Oversee team resourcing and delivery of specified services, roster/shift management, and workforce planning to ensure day-to-day effectiveness of service provision and meeting targets.
- Craft and execute release & deployment practices that align with policies and set industry standards.
- Implement and maintain Master Release plans, planning and executing releases, leading Release forums, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A deep understanding of IT Service Management frameworks and expertise in Release Management processes and tools.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive work culture.
- The ability to make informed decisions quickly and confidently, considering both short-term needs and long-term implications within the SIAM ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience in managing organisational change associated with implementing new release processes, tools, or technologies.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance Release processes and drive operational excellence.
