Analytical Laboratory Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct analytical tests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Operate and maintain various laboratory instruments including HPLC, GCFID/MS, UV-Vis, FTIR and other equipment.
- Prepare and standardize solutions, reagents and media as required for analysis.
- Evaluate raw materials, intermediates and finished products against specifications.
- Investigate discrepancies in analytical test results.
- Apply departmental policies and procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
Key Skills:
- Collaborate with chemists to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Maintain calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Perform method validation and verification activities to ensure compliance.
- Manage inventory and procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Degree in Science or higher majoring in chemistry or relevant field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to follow established methods and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HPLC/GCFID/MS and other analytical instrumentation.
