Diagnostic Laboratory Specialist
">This role involves working in a fast-paced environment as part of the Specimen Reception team, responsible for receiving, processing, and registering all clinical samples.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurately receive, process, and triage clinical samples, including data entry.
- Undertake pre and post-analytical specimen handling and process samples in a timely manner, including identification and prioritization of urgent specimens.
- Respond to sample requirements and general queries.
- Identify and resolve problems at the pre-analytical stage.
- Participate in all housekeeping laboratory duties.
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent attention to detail, work well in a fast-paced environment, and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
