We are seeking a seasoned Urban Planning expert to lead our planning team. This key leadership role will contribute to the success of our business by providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise in urban planning.

About the Role:
  • Lead a high-performing team of Urban Planners, ensuring effective project delivery and resource allocation.
  • Foster strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to achieve project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies for project management, including project planning, programming, and coordination.
  • Manage the preparation of planning documentation, reports, and submissions on behalf of clients.
  • Undertake technical reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or Architecture/Urban Design or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a consultancy environment or similar.
  • Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with the team, managers, and clients.
  • Commitment to self-improvement and continuing professional development.
