Job Title: Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice

This role involves working as a Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice. The successful applicant will provide high-quality medical care to patients and be an integral part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as required
  • Attendance and availability during rostered work hours and whilst on-call including clinical handover, clinical supervision, teaching and for emergency and routine care as required
  • Provision of education and research as required
  • Leadership and management experience with ability to cope with changing health system
  • Evidence of continued professional development, peer review and other forms of clinical governance
Requirements:
  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRMM
  • Recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice
  • Ability to network and operate within an interdisciplinary framework and to work with other stakeholders in a variety of settings
