We are seeking a skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a rural setting, providing high-quality healthcare to patients while being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing medical services including admissions, consultations, diagnostics, procedures, outpatient care, telehealth, and on-call services as required.
- Attending rostered work hours and on-call periods, including clinical handovers, supervision, teaching, and emergency and routine care.
- Pursuing ongoing professional development and contributing to the growth and improvement of the department.
- A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and fellowship of the RACGP or ACRMM, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Evidence of expertise in General Practice.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within an interdisciplinary framework.
- Strong clinical and operational support from the Director of Medical Services.
- Access to patient flow resources and retrieval services.
- Flexible recruitment episodes to suit availability and career goals.
