This is a medical career opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the hospital's mission to deliver excellent healthcare services.
The role involves providing various medical services, including admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth, and on-call services as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Attending during rostered work hours and on-call periods, including clinical handover, supervision, teaching, and emergency care.
- Providing education and research opportunities as needed.
- Contribution to teaching and support for staff and trainees.
- Effective communication with patients, students, health professionals, and the public.
- Collaboration within an interdisciplinary framework and with stakeholders.
- Primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRMM, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Evidence of medical expertise in General Practice.
- Evidence of scholarship and ability to teach and support staff and trainees.
- Evidence of strong communication skills, collaboration, and adaptability.
