Key Culinary Role

The opportunity exists to join a renowned culinary team at one of Australia's most iconic hotels, located in scenic Werribee Park. We are seeking a talented Chef de Partie who has experience working in a hotel environment, particularly catering for banquet service and A la carte restaurants.

  • Supervising and supporting the kitchen team during service
  • Leading by example in line with our values and food standards
  • Contributing to menu development and planning
  • Monitoring mise en place, cost control, and stock rotation
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of quality dishes across all outlets
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards

You will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained. Reporting to the Executive and Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the kitchen team during service
  • Leading by example in line with our values and food standards
  • Contributing to menu development and planning
  • Monitoring mise en place, cost control, and stock rotation
  • Ensuring consistent delivery of quality dishes across all outlets
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards

We are looking for someone who brings passion, professionalism, and creativity to their craft. You will have:

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hotel, banquet, or premium restaurant kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A commitment to excellence, efficiency, and kitchen cleanliness
