The Kew Golf Club is one of Melbourne's premier private golf clubs, located just 15 minutes from the CBD. Established in 1894, the Club offers a stunning setting and exceptional dining experiences in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our clubhouse features a variety of dining and function spaces, catering to both members and guests.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. Working under the guidance of our Head Chef, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes across our bistro, à la carte dining, and a diverse range of member and guest events including weddings, conferences, and corporate golf days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard across all areas of service
  • Support the Head Chef and kitchen team in delivering innovative menus for daily dining and events
  • Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards
  • Assist with stock rotation, storage, and kitchen cleanliness

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or similar role, ideally in a club, hotel, or events environment
  • A passion for food quality and creativity
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and knowledge of food safety practices
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and occasional evenings (mostly daytime hours)
