About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Performance department at Barminco.

This full-time role will be based within our site office and will be responsible for providing functional support, training, and mentoring to Site Administrators.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a point of contact for site administrators' queries and assisting with leave coverage.

Key responsibilities will include attending site to conduct internal audits, supporting change management and improvement projects, and troubleshooting administrative issues.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of administrative experience in a FIFO mining environment, with relevant experience in a similar administrative role or leadership role.

They will possess excellent technical skills in a range of systems, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.

The successful candidate will also have excellent organisational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years administrative experience in a FIFO mining environment
  • Relevant experience in a similar administrative role or leadership role
  • Excellent technical skills in a range of systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
