About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our Performance department at Barminco.

This full-time role will be based on an 8:6 roster, with flexibility required. You will be responsible for providing functional support, training, and mentoring to Site Administrators, as well as acting as a point of contact for site administrators' queries and assisting with leave coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Performance department
  • Train and mentor Site Administrators
  • Act as a point of contact for site administrators' queries
  • Assist with leave coverage
  • Attend site to conduct internal audits
  • Support change management and improvement projects
  • Attend site to troubleshoot administrative issues
  • Setup administrative systems
  • Liaise with other departments to deliver on deadlines

Requirements

  • 2+ years administrative experience in a FIFO Mining environment
  • Relevant experience in a similar administrative role or leadership role
  • Excellent technical skills in a range of systems
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and effective time management
  • Ability to analyse, resolve problems, and make decisions in a logical and effective manner
  • Excellent organisational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in SAP, Success Factors is advantageous
  • Must have physical and mental ability to withstand long hours in a strenuous and potentially high hazard work environment
  • Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical and obtain National Police Clearance
  • C class licence is minimum
  • MS Office knowledge, Proficient in Excel and MS word should be intermediate to advanced
