Job Summary
The Operations Manager – Unit Support is a critical role within the Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) that requires a strong leader to oversee the Unit Support Team. This position is responsible for ensuring effective service delivery, providing guidance and support to VICSES Volunteer Units, and collaborating with senior officers to achieve operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Unit Support Team in achieving business objectives and maintaining operational readiness.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve volunteer recruitment, retention, and engagement.
- Collaborate with Local Government Authorities and emergency services to ensure effective emergency management.
- Provide operational command and control during specific local, regional, and state-wide operations.
Requirements
