Job Overview

The ACT Government Department is seeking a Senior Client Engagement Officer to join their team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for assessing complex client needs and determining eligibility for government services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Matching resources to needs, implementing and applying legislation, policies, and business rules.
  • Delivering front-line client services, including assisting people accessing the shared intranet.
  • Undertaking record-keeping activities, managing sensitive files, and information in relevant records systems.
  • Preparing, monitoring, and tracking documentation.
  • Managing, analyzing, and interpreting data and preparing accurate reports.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a senior capacity in the social services and/or government sector.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service in office and outreach environments.
  • Experience in case management will be highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in leadership, management, social work, and community services or a related field are desirable.
