Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Officer to join our team at the Department For Human Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on contract management and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including preparing project briefs and researching information.
  • Monitor and evaluate project outcomes, and lead the development and implementation of reporting and performance indicators.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including DHS funded service providers.
  • Negotiate tendering of contracts and oversee tendering processes.
  • Collate and maintain data sets relevant to service agreements.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of contract management and project coordination principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and to lead and manage projects to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
