About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Officer to join our Improvement and Sustainability Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the scoping, costing, planning, implementation, delivery, closure, and evaluation of complex projects and initiatives that contribute to priority service redesign, efficiency, and improvement strategies across the Women's and Children's Health Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, coordination, and implementation of project plans and strategies to ensure contemporary and operationally efficient outcomes.
  • Conduct critical analysis of data and information to support evidence-based decision-making and lead assurance and review activities to ensure ongoing project improvements.
  • Collaborate with divisions, project sponsors, and managers, as well as other key stakeholders to develop and implement project plans and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior staff, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve objectives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in project/program design and management techniques, methodologies, and related activities.
  • Experience in organizing, managing, and leading complex change projects involving multiple stakeholders from various professions/occupations and levels of seniority.
  • Extensive experience in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships and working cooperatively and constructively with senior staff, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring and utilizing high-level conceptual and analytical skills.
