We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Officer to join our Improvement and Sustainability Unit, part of the Finance Directorate. The unit supports the management and delivery of programs and projects within SA Health that require coordination, sequencing, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the scoping, costing, planning, implementation, delivery, closure, and evaluation of complex projects and initiatives that contribute to priority service redesign, efficiency, and improvement strategies across SA Health.
- Work collaboratively and proactively with divisions, project sponsors, and managers, and other key stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and implement project plans and strategies that ensure contemporary and operationally efficient outcomes.
- Undertake critical analysis of data and information to support evidence-based decision-making and lead assurance and review activities to ensure ongoing project improvements.
- Demonstrated experience in project/program design and management techniques, methodologies, and related activities, including the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of projects and strategies dealing with complex issues, including sensitive matters.
- Experience in organizing, managing, and leading complex change projects involving multiple stakeholders from a variety of professions/occupations and levels of seniority.
- Extensive experience in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships and working cooperatively and constructively with senior staff, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in performance monitoring and utilizing high-level conceptual and analytical skills.
