DIVISION OVERVIEW
The Portfolio Management Office (PMO) under Digital and Business Services (DBS) has recently introduced a comprehensive Portfolio Management system aimed at overseeing all facets of project, program, and portfolio management from initiation to completion. The PMO has also revised the Portfolio Program Project Management Framework to align with this new system and is actively developing supplementary documentation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with various assurance, administrative, and operational functions within the PMO.
  • Design and implement project management protocols, procedures, and best practice standards to enhance planning and execution processes.
  • Oversee critical project activities, including financial management, forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Gather and evaluate project data to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Conduct project assurance and phase gate evaluations.
  • Support the implementation of updated project management guidelines, procedures, and templates.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Significant experience in a PMO environment, ideally within the public sector.
  • Over 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator.
  • Strong expertise in project financial management, including forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management frameworks, lifecycle, and execution processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in revising and deploying project management supporting guidelines, procedures, and templates.
  • Proficiency in project assurance and phase gate evaluations.
  • Possession of a valid police check or willingness to obtain one during the interview process.
