An esteemed global investment bank is seeking an accomplished Associate Director to lead Equity Derivatives Sales efforts in their Sydney office. This exciting role involves marketing and selling Flow and Solutions products to Institutional and Distribution clients.

Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing relationships with Structured Product Distributors in Australia, unlocking additional business with new distributors, and developing a deep understanding of the local market, regulatory, and operational landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow Equity Derivatives revenue in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Business Partners, key stakeholders, and clients to expand the Client Franchise and maximize Global Markets business in Australia.
  • Leverage expertise in derivative products across different asset classes, including equity, to provide customized cross-asset solutions and create a relevant product offering for clients.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and solutions tailored to the needs of Institutional clients in Australia.
  • Ensure proper control over various risk aspects and contribute to the Permanent Control framework.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience marketing financial products to institutional investors.
  • A proven track record of managing client portfolios and achieving sales budgets.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of derivative products across different asset classes, including equity.
  • University Graduate Degree.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive salary of around AU$200,000 - AU$250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and bonuses based on individual performance and company targets.
