Role Overview

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position that requires Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or permanent residency. As the Chief Financial Strategist, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and decision support to our sales, marketing, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Lead the commercial finance function as a key partner to the Australian Leadership Team and their direct reports.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide strategic insights and decision support to sales and marketing teams, challenging and influencing business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial finance within a complex FMCG business.
  • 5+ years' direct people leadership experience, with a proven track record in coaching for performance and setting vision and expectations for the team.
  • Degree in Finance with relevant postgraduate qualifications (CPA/CA/MBA).
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills, with proficiency in MS PowerPoint and familiarity with integrated business analysis tools (SAP BI/Cognos/Hyperion).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills, and strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
