Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client interviews to identify needs and develop tailored case plans that cater to their unique circumstances.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and advocacy to those in need, including home visits and referrals to relevant services.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies to ensure holistic care and support for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all standards and legislative requirements, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum Diploma of Community Services or equivalent qualification; degree qualifications are preferred.
  • At least two years of experience working in a role related to domestic, family, and sexual violence, preferably within Aboriginal communities.
  • Strong experience working with Aboriginal communities and organisations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics, complexities, and legal and social welfare implications of DFSV, enabling informed decision-making and effective support.
