About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Programs Officer to support the planning, coordinating, and evaluating of key initiatives that improve outcomes for Aboriginal children, families, and communities.

As a Programs Officer, you will work closely with communities and stakeholders to build strong partnerships, engage in culturally responsive initiatives, and monitor data to inform decisions.

This role requires a deep understanding of Aboriginal cultures, communities, and protocols, as well as experience in program coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program activities to support Aboriginal outcomes
  • Engage with communities and stakeholders to build strong partnerships
  • Support the delivery of culturally responsive initiatives
  • Monitor data, reports, and program progress to inform decisions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and insights
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
  • Knowledge of Aboriginal cultures, communities, and protocols
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
