Hotel Operations Coordinator

The Hotel Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless hotel operations during overnight hours. Reporting to the Hotel Services Manager, this position oversees front office operations while supporting other departments as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Upon guest arrival, provide a warm welcome and ensure effective interaction throughout their stay.
  • Promptly address guest concerns and solicit feedback to drive continuous improvements in guest satisfaction.
  • Set an example by delivering exceptional service, prioritizing safety, and adhering to IHG brand standards.
  • Foster team performance related to soft skills, including Guest Love, Loyalty Recognition, and Problem Handling.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to enhance performance and drive development.
  • Plan for future staffing needs and complete all stages of IHG Recruitment on-boarding.
  • Ensure daily communication and coordination with other departments promote teamwork and quality service.
  • Verify that all credit and financial transactions are handled securely and accurately.

About You:

  • Holding valid working rights in Australia without restrictions is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in luxury hotels is preferred.
  • Essential certifications include RSA, First Aid Qualifications, and Driver's License.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hotel Management or Business Administration are preferred.
  • Flexibility, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, is required.
  • Maintaining impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene is essential.
  • An organized approach and ability to handle large amounts of information is crucial.
  • Good communication and writing skills are necessary.
  • Physical fitness is required.
