The Opportunity

As a key member of our property team, you will work closely with our Head of Property to manage the day-to-day operations of a small portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail assets located throughout Victoria. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing property services and operations across the portfolio, including tenancy conditions, building maintenance, repairs, rectification, and fit-out works;
  • Ensuring service providers adhere to contractual obligations to maintain a high level of delivery;
  • Conducting regular inspections to assess the condition of properties and implementing required works or initiatives to protect and enhance asset value;
  • Performing administrative tasks as required, including updating and utilizing our FM software to manage work orders and requests;
  • Optimizing performance in relation to lifecycle asset management and sustainability;
  • Delivering minor projects, including fit-outs, upgrades of plant and equipment, and budget management;
  • Responding to tenants' requests in a timely and customer-oriented manner;
  • Ensuring compliance with essential services and managing risk.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a background in facilities management within retail, commercial, or industrial portfolios. A good appreciation of technical elements around BMS systems, HVAC, and essential services is essential. You'll also require experience in delivering minor works, ranging from plant upgrades to fit-outs, and possess excellent communication skills. A team player who enjoys working hard but knows when to have some fun too.
