About the Role

1048 State Street Australia Limited is seeking an experienced Global Payments Project Director to lead Business User Acceptance Testing activities related to payment processing. This role requires a strong understanding of the global payments infrastructure and various modernization initiatives across markets and Financial Market Utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough test strategy and plan that encompasses all desired functionality and workflows
  • Collaborate with operational, project, and technology teams to coordinate testing activities across platforms
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and external industry groups working on large-scale cross-platform high-risk projects
  • Host interviews and deep-dive sessions to understand and document business use cases
  • Articulate and champion business requirements
  • Clearly communicate defects and expected results to IT and project partners
  • Assess business impact of identified defects and recommend prioritization
  • Participate in operational readiness activities, including planning, training, and documentation
  • Build meaningful relationships with business, project, and IT teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows through technology

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the payments industry, managing testing/implementation activities for large-scale enterprise projects
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and diverse stakeholders
  • Extensive hands-on experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot and learn independently
