Operational Excellence Specialist Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a pivotal role in driving process improvements across our dealerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement in safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing more efficient practices.
  • Cultivate staff and leaders in operational excellence techniques - ensuring sustained progress.
  • Embed practical tools like daily improvement meetings and 5S to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Establish strong relationships within the business to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and solutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in automotive retail - understanding how dealerships operate.
  • Hands-on experience with improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma training is advantageous, but leadership influence is paramount).
  • A personable, confident, and persuasive individual able to coach at every level from the workshop floor to senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to support ideas with data-driven insights.
  • A customer-centric approach and passion for delivering improved outcomes.

You'll be based at our state-of-the-art facility in Derrimut within the CMV Training Institute, part of a forward-thinking environment that values innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
