Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned finance expert to oversee financial operations across multiple dealerships in Tasmania.

  • The successful candidate will lead month-end and year-end close processes, as well as prepare and present management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • This pivotal leadership role requires the ability to ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, as well as support the CFO and leadership team with strategic financial planning.
  • A key aspect of this role is mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team.

This position requires an accomplished finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Leading month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Preparing and presenting management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the CFO and leadership team with strategic financial planning.
  • Mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Automotive dealership experience (non-negotiable requirement).
  • CA/CPA qualification and proven post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / Australian standards).
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into business insights.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • A hands-on, proactive, and collaborative style.
