Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our estimating process from tender to submission across residential and commercial projects.

  • Manage the estimating process to ensure accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for residential and commercial projects.
  • Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates and identify potential risks and value opportunities.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure budgets align with client requirements and delivery timelines.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years' experience in estimating within residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and cost planning principles.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate tenders on projects up to multi-million-dollar value.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel; exposure to Procore advantageous.
