About this Role:
- Develop and deliver detailed, accurate cost estimates for commercial fitout projects.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to ensure informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and scope alignment.
- Provide expert cost input during design development, offering valuable insights to optimize project outcomes.
- Maintain close relationships with project and design teams to ensure financial accuracy throughout all project phases.
- Assist with progress claims and cost-to-complete reports to ensure timely delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation Expertise: Deliver accurate cost estimates that meet client expectations.
- Drawings and Specifications Review: Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to inform project decisions.
- Supplier Liaison: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best-in-class pricing.
- Design Development Support: Contribute expert cost knowledge to design development, ensuring optimal project outcomes.
- Project Team Collaboration: Work closely with project and design teams to maintain financial accuracy and drive project success.
- Pricing Databases Maintenance: Ensure up-to-date pricing databases and historical cost benchmarks are maintained.
- Progress Claims and Reporting: Assist with progress claims and cost-to-complete reports to support timely project delivery.
