About Us

Matrix Estimating is a specialist Australian consultancy that partners with some of the country's leading builders and property developers. We deliver detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost plans, and digital take-offs that allow our clients to make confident, well-informed decisions on their projects.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor / Estimator based in the Philippines to join our remote team. This is a long-term, career-building opportunity to work on significant Australian projects, collaborating closely with our Sydney-based team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

The Role

In this position, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our cost planning and estimating services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

·       Preparing detailed take-offs, BoQs, and cost estimates using CostX (mandatory skill).

·       Reviewing and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

·       Producing precise and timely tenders, pricing schedules, and variation estimates in line with Australian standards.

·       Working independently on assigned tasks while maintaining close daily collaboration with our Sydney-based team.

·       Aligning your working hours with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.

About You

We are seeking someone who combines strong technical skills with professionalism, commitment, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will bring:

· years of proven QS/estimating experience, ideally in Australia, the Middle East, or the UK.

·       Advanced CostX proficiency (experience with Bluebeam is a plus).

·       Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

·       A stable and reliable home-office setup, including dependable internet connectivity.
