We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Assistant to join our team. This position requires 1-2 years of experience within the general insurance industry. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing crucial support to the underwriting team in administrative tasks and data analysis. You will collaborate closely with underwriters, brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess insurance applications and determine risk levels.
  • Review policy documents, endorsements, and related materials for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare quotes, policy documents, and endorsements in adherence to company guidelines.
  • Maintain records of underwriting activities, including policy information and endorsements.
  • Act as a point of contact for brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders, providing timely and professional customer service.
  • Analyze risk factors and trends to support underwriting decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and underwriting guidelines to ensure compliance.

Requirements:
