Job Title: Contracts Administrator

BESIX Watpac is seeking a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our VIC team in Adelaide, working on large-scale projects.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring compliance with OH&S legislative requirements to maintain a safe workplace.
  • Tendering of subcontract packages, including compilation and approval of tender documents, and submission of tender recommendations.
  • Preparing contract documents for each trade package/subcontract.
  • Assisting with the administration of subcontract packages, including progress claims, variation claims, and project-related financial matters.
  • Participating in the submission of monthly consolidated reporting, including cash flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters, and cost analysis.
  • Establishing an effective system for the administration of projects, in line with company procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

The successful candidate will require:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the building construction industry.
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with shifting work priorities to deliver results.
