Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and Negotiating Contracts

You will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating annual contracts with suppliers, ensuring that our business needs are met and that our customers receive the best possible products and services.

Contract Review and Management

You will review and manage contracts to ensure that they are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with our business requirements.

Supplier Relationship Management

You will build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they are aware of our business needs and that they are able to provide the best possible products and services.

Communication and Collaboration

You will work closely with our Content and Inventory teams to ensure that they have the rates and availability of products bookable in our leisure booking platforms.

Problem Solving and Administration

You will be responsible for problem-solving complex issues and providing administration support to our team.

Requirements
  • Destination Knowledge

You will have a good understanding of the Australian travel industry and be able to provide expert knowledge on destinations and products.

Technical Skills

You will have experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be able to use Tourplan database system.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills

You will have the ability to problem-solve effectively and promptly, and be able to analyze complex data to inform business decisions.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for the travel industry. You will be able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail.

You will also need to be able to influence and deliver results, and be a proven team player with a strong ability to work collaboratively with others.
