Merchandise Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to join our team in a key retail role. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, build business relationships, and drive sales growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide sales advisory and service to clients, building strong relationships through technical advice and support.
  • Proactively source new customers to achieve sales targets.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receipting, stocktake, and dispatch.
  • Process sales and generate quotes efficiently.
  • Deliver products to customers with a focus on excellent customer service.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in sales from within the agriculture industry, preferably in rural retail and warehousing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry and its challenges.
  • Technical skills in agricultural science, animal health, or agronomy are an advantage.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for effective communication.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, POS, and administration skills.
  • Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks safely.
  • A strong focus on workplace safety principles.
  • A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
