About the Role
As a crop manager, you will be responsible for providing practical agronomic advice and support to growers across various regions. You will work closely with our rural products teams to identify opportunities to cross-sell our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers to understand their needs and provide tailored advice
- Conduct in-field assessments and deliver crop monitoring and planning services to ensure optimal yields
- Develop seasonal programs and input plans to support on-farm success and sustainable practices
- Stay informed on local agronomic trends, R&D, and emerging technologies to provide expert guidance to growers
- Identify opportunities to grow client base and cross-sell our products and services
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science or a related field
- Practical experience in broadacre agronomy, agricultural product sales, or crop consulting
- Strong technical knowledge of cropping systems and sustainable input planning
- Sound use of digital farm management systems for planning and recording recommendations
- Current driver's licence and ability to work independently in the field
